2013 All Wrapped Up!

So four years on and sadly life has taken a toll on me! Unfortunately, this also means my blog! BUT! Aha! I am not going to let it die. Why? Because it’s my baby, that’s why! The past four years have been wonderful, with my love for books and the friends I’ve made, how can these years have not been full of brilliance and fun.

The book community has always been strong, whether you’re commenting on reviews, or going to book meet and greats with other bloggers and authors or simply just reading a book and telling someone else about how much you love it, or hate it, or wish it had a different ending. Every single person in this community makes it worth being a part of, and it is for this reason that I have stuck with my blog over the past four years.

Last year, I made the decision to move my blog to wordpress, and this means my views took a great hit, but you know what? I have still loved reading all the books I get sent, and the books I buy despite my lack of space and my boyfriend and friends telling me off. And with my family issues and my university course, I haven’t had a great deal of time to write meme’s, or participate in blog tours, or read many books! But here is my promise for this year, I will read 52 books. I will post up a Book of the Month, every month. And at some point, I will update my Review Catalogue. Haha, they are my promises.

So let’s look at what I did do last year, in a little more detail.

In total, I read 41 Books last year.

Of that 41:

3 were Hardback
19 were Paperback
and 19 were Digital

22 were Printed
and 19 were eBooks

18 were Personal Reads
and 23 were for Review

5 were written by a Male Author
and 36 were written by a Female Author

24 were given 5 stars
15 were given 4.5 or 4 stars
and 2 were given less than 4 stars

9 were Stand Alone Novels
and 32 were parts of a Series

So, lets see what 2014 brings us!

Don’t forget you can head over to my personal blog for a Daily blog each day till the end of my Work Placement at Pan Macmillan Publishers!
