Gosh, it’s 2017!

Hey everyone!

How have you all been? Have a good Christmas? New Year?

Moving on… (scroll down to the bottom for a TL;DR)

As you all know, when I go to work I tend to stop writing reviews, so when I run out of reviews I’ve written… I run out. But I don’t stop reading! (And as a side note, I update Goodreads while at work so!) This means that when I finally have time to sit down and write reviews again, I create another back log! Sadly I ran out of reviews earlier than I expected at the end of 2016, but things were hectic and I chose not to stress about the blog while I was stressing about my work.

But here I am! With a whole new set of reviews for you! You’ll notice that a lot of the time I’ve been binge reading a series that I started to enjoy. And I am not going to hide it (as I tried to with The Selection). If I’ve read the whole series one after another, then why not share the reviews in that order!

So, I’m going to! As of now, February 2017 (though this’ll be posted first week of March). I’ve attempted to read two books and DNF’d them. I’m continuing with my decision to not mention those on here, purely because I would rather focus on books I have read all the way through. And for me, DNF doesn’t mean I’ll never go back and read them, so I’d rather leave it open to a time more suited to me reading those books.

Aside of those books, I’ve read 6 books this year (as of writing this) and have 5 books from the end of 2016 to share with you as well! So wish me luck as I try to get these reviews out to you on time each week! But rest assured, they’re on their way. And I will not stop reading while getting these reviews out to you, so that list of books is growing! I promise!

You can keep up with my reading over on Goodreads if you want more up to date information on what I’m reading…

So I’ll see you next week with a review of Delirium by Lauren Oliver!

Tyler!

TL;DR
I ran out of pre-written reviews while working at the end of 2016, so I have a back log of reviews to write and I’ve been reading! So there are more reviews coming!
You can check out my Goodreads for more information on the books I’m reading now!

Review: The Heir by Kiera Cass – Audiobook

Narrated by: Brittany Pressley
Publisher of Audiobook: Harper Audio
Release Date: 7th May 2015

Synopsis: Goodreads

Princess Eadlyn has grown up hearing endless stories about how her mother and father met. Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won the heart of Prince Maxon—and they lived happily ever after. Eadlyn has always found their fairy-tale story romantic, but she has no interest in trying to repeat it. If it were up to her, she’d put off marriage for as long as possible.

But a princess’s life is never entirely her own, and Eadlyn can’t escape her very own Selection—no matter how fervently she protests.

Eadlyn doesn’t expect her story to end in romance. But as the competition begins, one entry may just capture Eadlyn’s heart, showing her all the possibilities that lie in front of her . . . and proving that finding her own happily ever after isn’t as impossible as she’s always thought.
